Report have shown that Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo has admitted that he hopes Thomas Tuchel is the man to help him win the Champions League, and knock out his parent club.
Although Bayern Munich have acted in quite sensational fashion this week, with reliable reports highlighting the imminent sacking of current head coach Julian Nagelsmann with immediate effect.
The Bundesliga giants also have their replacement lined up, with former Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel having reportedly agreed a two-and-a-half year contract at the Allianz Arena, which could be officially signed this week.

It must be noted that Manchester City supporters have been especially keen on developments, with their side facing the Munich club in the last-eight of the UEFA Champions League – a two-legged affair between the two sides scheduled to take place next month.
Now, speaking after Portugal’s 4-0 win over Liechtenstein in a qualifying match for the 2024 European Championships, Joao Cancelo became the first Bayern Munich player to be quizzed on the flurry of reports across Thursday evening.
Upon being made aware of the imminent sacking of his current manager Julian Nagelsmann, the on-loan Manchester City defender said, “I didn’t know! I didn’t know! I’m a bit surprised, yes.
“I want to thank Mr (Julian) Nagelsmann because he was the one who wanted me at Bayern (Munich). It was the management that wanted me. This caught me by surprise, but all the luck in the world to him.”
