Chelsea have completed the signing of Argentina’s World Cup-winning midfielder Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for €121 million, the Portuguese club confirmed.
The fee of £106.8 million is a British record, eclipsing the £100 million Manchester City paid Aston Villa for England midfielder Jack Grealish in 2021.
