South African COVID-19 cases exceed 3m in Africa

New finding have Confirmed new cases of those infected with coronavirus in Africa to have reached 3,021,769.

With recent confirmation by the Africa Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) confirming more cases for south Africa.

It was noted that most affected African countries in terms of the number of positive cases include South Africa, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, and Ethiopia.

With South Africa leading with over 1.2m confirmed cases and 32,824 death recorded recently.

It must be noted that the death toll related to the pandemic stood at 72,121, the continental disease control and prevention agency’s Africa COVID-19 dashboard reported.

However, a total of 2,450,492 people infected with coronavirus have recovered across the continent as of Sunday morning.
