As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in preparing, reviewing, and presenting complex financial data to management. Your responsibilities will include providing detailed Financial Planning Analyst - United Arab Emirates - Hybridcommentary and recommendations, supporting forecasting and planning cycles, and developing tools to enhance reporting functionality and accuracy. You will also take charge of month-end close activities for designated entities or markets. Success in this role hinges on your ability to work collaboratively across teams, drive business performance, and ensure budget adherence while delivering critical analyses for decision-making. Flexibility to support multi-region timing during month-end processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and report on financial results, including revenues, margin analysis, product line profitability, operating profit, and balance sheet activities.
Conduct internal financial reporting, trend analysis, variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and special projects. Manage financial controls, balance sheet & P&L analysis, inventory analysis, and ad-hoc reporting requests.
Track operational results against targets, assist management in optimizing working capital, and address variances.
Participate in the annual operating and capital budget processes. Support monthly closings, forecast updates, and budget consolidations.
Provide daily reporting and analysis to support decision-making related to monthly operating and financial results, sales and bookings, inventory turnover, and business drivers. Prepare written comments for executive presentations.
Develop and present monthly variance and gap analysis reports, including visual aids such as graphs and charts, with root cause analyses.
Meet key business and corporate deadlines, including monthly accounting close, reconciliations, and reporting.
Contribute to the development of FP&A deliverables, including reporting, budgeting, and planning processes. Partner with business leaders across the company.
Identify and implement process improvements in operations and financial infrastructure.
Assist with internal and external audit queries.
Lead projects and programs as directed, ensuring their successful completion.
Spearhead process improvements related to product class reporting and tracking key financial metrics.
Set up and prepare monthly operating metrics/ratios and related graphical presentations.
Ensure the integrity of internal financial controls in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Experience in Pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Excel: Advanced proficiency required.
SAP: Experience required.
PowerPoint: Intermediate proficiency.
Budgeting, Forecasting, & Analysis: Advanced skills.
Business Writing: Intermediate proficiency.
