Partey has been a key figure under the management of Mikel Arteta, making 99 appearances and contributing five goals and four assists across various competitions. However, Arsenal’s pursuit of West Ham captain Declan Rice seems to have triggered Partey’s exit. According to Sky Sports Italy, Partey’s representatives have been in contact with Juventus and have now agreed on personal terms, paving the way for a potential transfer.

While Saudi Arabian sides Al Nassr, Al Ahli, and Al Khaleej have expressed interest in signing Partey, the player himself prefers to stay in Europe. Juventus, who have previously attempted to secure his services, believe they can finally land the midfielder this summer. A transfer fee in the range of £15-17 million (€18-20m) along with a three-year contract could be sufficient to secure his signature.

The departure of Partey, whose current Arsenal contract runs until June 2025, would allow the Gunners to cash in on the midfielder rather than risk losing him on a free transfer in the future. This potential exit may see Partey following Granit Xhaka, who is strongly linked with a move to Bayer Leverkusen, out of the door at Arsenal.

Juventus manager Max Allegri has taken the lead in pursuing Partey, recognizing the midfielder’s potential to bolster his squad for the upcoming season. Last season, Juventus finished seventh in Serie A due to a 15-point deduction for “financial irregularities” and “false accounting” related to past transfer activities. The acquisition of Partey would be a step towards revitalizing the team and reclaiming their position among the elite clubs.

Meanwhile, Arsenal is actively pushing to secure the services of Declan Rice, despite strong competition from Manchester City. The Gunners have already made two bids for the West Ham captain, but both offers have been rejected, including a recent £90 million proposal with a significant upfront payment of £75 million.

Additionally, Arsenal is on the verge of completing a £65 million deal for Chelsea forward Kai Havertz. The German international is expected to undergo a medical examination over the weekend, with an official announcement of his transfer anticipated in the coming week.

With a midfield rebuild in progress, Arsenal has identified other potential targets. Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and Southampton’s Romeo Lavia are among the midfielders on their shortlist. Caicedo, who came close to joining Arsenal in January, is likely to leave Brighton during the current transfer window.

Mikel Arteta is prepared to part ways with several first-team players to generate additional funds for transfers. If Partey and Xhaka depart, Arsenal’s central midfield options would be limited to Jorginho, Fabio Vieira, Martin Odegaard, and Mohamed Elneny.

The upcoming weeks promise to be crucial for Arsenal as they navigate the transfer market, aiming to strengthen their squad and build a competitive team for the challenges that lie ahead.
