ImageReport have shown that The heavyweight world champion has backed his fellow Ukrainian to turn his fortunes around at Stamford Bridge after the big money signing has come under scrutiny.

It was noted that Ukrainian heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk has backed £88million Chelsea star Mykhaylo Mudryk to win the Ballon d’Or after a tough start at Stamford Bridge.

The 22-year-old winger had a host of European teams fighting for his signature in January and was linked with London rivals Arsenal before signing an eight-and-a-half year deal at Chelsea from Shakthar Donestk.

After scoring 10 goals in 18 games for Ukrainian side Shakhtar this season – including three in Europe – fans hoped the youngster would hit the ground running in the Premier League. However, the big money signing has had limited game-time with Chelsea, making just six appearances since his arrival.

It must be noted that the Ukrainian provided an assist in his side’s 3-1 win over Leicester earlier this month, but failed to impress for Ukraine during their 2-0 defeat against England on Sunday night.

Ukrainian heavyweight world champion Usyk was asked about Mudryk’s price tag during an interview with Parimatch earlier this year and gave a glowing review of the youngster.

“Everything has risen,” said Usyk about the £88m fee. “Prices, and money, are a little higher than they were. I think he’s worth a little more than 100 million because I’ve been watching this guy. I saw him for the first time playing for the U-18 or U-19 team.
