Report have shown that the BLUES have confirmed that Thiago Silva has put pen-to-paper on a new contract for the 2023/24 season.
Although the Brazilian joined the Blues on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in 2020 and he has since been a key player for them.
Despite being 38, Silva continues to remain an undisputed starter and he has been earning plaudits from the fans regularly.
Hence, it was a no-brainer to prolong his stay and he has now penned an extension to keep him at the club for next season.

Speaking Silva told the club’s official website: “I am honestly so happy to continue my career. When I signed my first contract here, it was to just do one year.”

Silva has shown no signs of slowing down and the Brazilian star will be hoping to end his career on a high with the Blues.
