It was noted that Spanish Giant Barcelona have reportedly blocked Ronald Koeman’s attempts to bring Romelu Lukaku to the club this summer as they feel is going to be mega move which Barcelona is noted interested in spending for now.
Based on information Lukaku joined Inter Milan from Manchester United last August and have enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 campaign for the Italian giants with 34 goals in 51 appearances all credited to him.
According to media houses information as confirmed by us ,Barcelona Boss Koeman informed the Barcelona board management that he want to sign the Belgium international, who he managed at Everton, as a replacement for Luis Suarez in Barcelona.
Although Barcelona reportedly blocked Ronald Koeman’s move for inter Milan Star Romelu Lukaku this summer because they couldn’t afford what they feel the Inter Milan will request for.
Credited to him Lukaku scored 27 goals and contributed seven assists in the last season during Koeman’s season at Everton and the Dutchman feel like taking the striker to the Nou Camp to replace Luis Suarez if allowed.
It must be noted that Barcelona club management considered Koeman’s proposal before discarding the idea because of their financial situation of the club presently.
Although it was also reported that the Catalan giants blocked the proposal move due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak, which means that the club cannot afford to sign the 27-year-old this summer which will eat into their profit.
Based on the current club situation which been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic and are limited in what they can do during this summer’s transfer window for players to the club.
Although Lyon’s Memphis Depay is another player Koeman is keen on but that deal could also break down because of the club’s finances which was low compared to the Inter Milan star with the French side’s president claiming the club are unable to make them an offer.
Other deal which are the LaLiga side securing Miralem Pjanic from Juventus but as part of a swap deal with Arthur moving in the opposite direction as agreed.
It must be noted that Lukaku is contracted to Inter Milan until 2024 meaning the Serie A side could demand a big fee for their prized asset if Barcelona decide to make the make the move
Although other report meanwhile, claimed that Real Madrid had identified the Belgian as a potential long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.
