Report have shown that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is leaving Liverpool but he is faced with the dilemma over his pending exit as he decides whether to go in January or depart as a free agent.
It was noted that there are growing Premier League interest in the former Arsenal star ahead of this month’s transfer deadline, with a number of English clubs and teams abroad keen on signing Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Although Oxlade-Chamberlain is virtually certain to leave Anfield either this month or in July when his contract officially expires.
However, with a host of players throughout European football in his position also available for free at the end of the season there are no guarantees the 29-year-old will have the options he has now.
A free transfer exit this summer would likely prove more lucrative for Oxlade-Chamberlain, given the attractive signing-on fees attached to Bosman deals.
With that in mind, Oxlade-Chamberlain must decide whether to seek an exit in January when he has guaranteed top-flight options or risk waiting until the summer when the free transfer market could be flooded.
