Report from a reputable media (The Sun) states that the premier league club is willing to listen to offers for Lingard this winter to avoid losing him for free.

Although he was valued at around £25m over the summer, but they are now willing to accept offers in the region of £10m from any serious buyer.

West Ham United are widely expected to make an approach after being priced out of a summer transfer for the said player initially.

Lingard was hugely successful with the Hammers on loan earlier this year, bagging nine goals and five assists during his loan stay with the club.

The Hammers finished sixth in the league standings last term, and they have continued to make progress this season.

They are flying high in third with 22 points. Lingard’s return would boost their prospects of a Champions League finish.
