About the role
We are looking for a senior data analyst with a focus on stakeholder communication to join our Data and Analytics team as we aim to make Circle the top choice for creator/brand-led communities.
This role will focus on supporting the strategic direction of the go-to-market leaders with clear data to support decision-making, while also being hands-on. In a hands-on capacity, it will focus mostly on understanding the underlying questions and business needs of incoming requests and ensuring we are utilizing the correct framework and methodology. With this understanding, you will execute and deliver a well-vetted data set to present a concise analysis to stakeholders
What you’ll be doing
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Present complex analytical findings and insights in a clear and actionable manner to senior and non-technical management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis using various methods and frameworks to extract meaningful insights.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust analytical models to support business objectives.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize DBT to manage and transform data within the data warehouse.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data analysis, analytics tools, and technologies.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance data quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Strong alignment with our values. Find our values on our career page if you haven’t read up on them yet.
- You are proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at a CEFR Level C1 / ILR Level 5.
- 5+ years of experience in a data analysis role, with a focus on engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with using dbt for data transformation and management.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and other data manipulation languages.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting. You don’t need to be a data science expert – just comfortable writing python code and comprehending code written by others
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The cash compensation range shown is a starting point. In addition to equity, benefits and perks, your cash compensation is subject to an annual review and increase on a once per year basis.
