Although the England international joined Roma from the Blues in 2021 and had an excellent debut season with 27 goals in 53 games.

However, he has struggled in his second campaign with just seven goals from 33 matches but remains on the radar of top teams.

According to The Athletic, the Red Devils have been closely monitoring the 25-year-old in Roma’s games at the Stadio Olimpico.

However, they are not alone in the pursuit with former club Chelsea also weighing up the prospect of re-signing him this summer.

It must be noted that the Blues currently have a €80m buy-back clause for Abraham that is expected to be active from the end of the ongoing campaign.

Hence, Roma are certain to hold out for a similar transfer fee and it remains to be seen whether United are ready to make such an outlay.

Abraham is said to be eyeing a return to the English top-flight.
