Arsenal are interested in a move for teenage sensation Warren Zaire-Emery

That’s according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, who revealed that the Gunners are keen to sign the 16-year-old from Paris Saint-Germain.

“Several clubs including Arsenal are keenly interested in Warren Zaire-Emery for a mid-term move. For PSG, the young midfielder is non-transferable!” he tweeted.

The France U19 international, who broke a club record with his senior debut back August 2022, is under contract with the Ligue 1 giants until 2025.

If Arsenal’s hierarchy and sporting director Edu Gaspar were to prize the potential generational talent away from his home country, then they could well replicate what the world has seen with Jude Bellingham.

The current Borussia Dortmund star made his first-team breakthrough at a very similar age for Birmingham City and by the age of 17, he was sold to the Bundesliga outfit for an initial £25m.

Bellingham is the absolute proof that age can be nothing but a number in football as if you’re good enough, you can start matches at the highest level and this blueprint is likely one that the Gunners are trying to follow with Zaire-Emery.

PSG’s engine room is blessed with an array of quality, ranging from established internationals such as Marco Verratti to up-and-coming gems like Vitinha, so to have already made seven top-flight appearances this season is certainly a credit to his ability.
