Role Overview: We are seeking a full-time Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide high-quality technical support to individuals, teams, and organizations using Tailscale. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional support and resolving issues in partnership with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams. As an early-stage, fully remote company, we value motivated individuals who excel in asynchronous work environments and are eager to leverage their specialized skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop deep expertise in Tailscale’s product, including Access Control, Authentication, and Routing features.
Manage and resolve customer support requests related to product issues.
Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure successful product deployment.
Work with the Engineering team to debug and address customer issues.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in technical support roles.
1+ years of experience with networking concepts, including subnets and routing. CCNA certification or equivalent is a plus. Familiarity with Tailscale is highly advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and team communication skills.
Excellent written communication skills, as much of the role involves email and forum-based interactions.
A genuine desire to assist customers and partners in solving technical problems.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $97,000—$121,000 USD per year
