Jesse Marsch ‘turns down’ Leicester City managerial role

Former Leeds United head coach Jesse MarschReport have shown that Former Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has reportedly turned down the chance to join relegation rivals Leicester City for the rest of the season.

According to Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the deal for the American to become the new Foxes manager is now ‘100 per cent over’.

It was previously reported that Marsch was set to take charge at the King Power Stadium with virtually just the paperwork left to sign.

Further report from Romano now states that the former Leeds man was not ‘fully convinced’ and that he is no longer accepting the role despite talks being in an advanced position. This would be the second time that Marsch has reportedly turned down the chance to coach one of Leeds’ relegation rivals having previously been linked with the top job at Southampton following the departure of Nathan Jones.
