Report from our transfer monitoring team states that Endrick, the highly-rated 16-year-old forward who will join Real Madrid in two years, has spoken out against the intense media scrutiny he has faced in recent weeks.

Although the Brazilian striker is considered one of the highest-rated young players in the world and will join Real Madrid when he turns 18 after a €70m deal was agreed.

However, since the confirmation of his eventual exit, Endrick has struggled for form, going 14 games without scoring for Palmeiras, despite averaging more than a goal a game for Brazil Under-16s.

After scoring in a 2-1 loss to Agua Santa, Endrick spoke out about the criticism he has faced, questioning why so much pressure has been placed on him at such a young age.

“It does not bother me to not score goals, because I know that things will improve naturally,” he told Mundo Deportivo.

“I just need to keep my mind strong. The criticism will not diminish and I will have to endure it more and more.”
