According to report saying that Casemiro is on the verge of entering Manchester United and Premier League history for an achievement not many would’ve predicted.
Although Casemiro is on the verge of breaking an unwanted Manchester United record after Erik ten Hag’s side felt his absence in Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Newcastle United.
He is also closing in on joining an exclusive club of Premier League players after his sudden spike of red card offences.
It must be noted that Casemiro has helped transform the Red Devils after his £70million arrival from Real Madrid last summer.
Before he landed at Old Trafford, the Brazilian veteran had avoided a single red card across 452 senior games for Sao Paulo, FC Porto and Real.
However, Casemiro was dismissed for the second time in his debut season in England last month after a lunge on Carlos Alcaraz in the first half of United’s 0-0 draw with Southampton.
It was the 31-year-old’s fourth domestic outing after returning from a three-game ban received for being adjudged to have grabbed Will Hughes by the throat in a 2-1 win against Crystal Palace in February.
