Hector Bellerin, who left Premier League leaders Arsenal less than a year ago, is set to join his third club soon.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he is close to finalizing a return to Real Betis, his boyhood club in La Liga. Bellerin has openly expressed his admiration for the Andalusian side and won a Copa del Rey with them during his loan spell in the 2021/22 season.

Romano reports that negotiations between Bellerin and Real Betis are in the final stages and the Spanish defender is keen on joining them on a free transfer from Sporting Lisbon at the end of the season.
Bellerin terminated his contract with Arsenal six months ago and signed with Barcelona on the final day of the summer transfer window. However, he struggled for game time at Camp Nou and moved to Sporting Lisbon in January, where he has been hampered by injuries.
Bellerin has only started eight games for Barcelona and Sporting combined in the 2022/23 season. Despite this, Mikel Arteta, his former manager at Arsenal, has spoken highly of him and praised his contribution to the club beyond just his career. The Arsenal team and staff are reportedly looking forward to seeing Bellerin again.
