Reportedly, Manchester United is considering loaning out Anthony Elanga for the next season. Elanga, who joined the Red Devils’ academy at the age of 12 in 2014, made his senior debut in May 2021 under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, after progressing through the youth ranks.
Despite featuring in 52 first-team appearances for United and contributing four goals and four assists, the winger has found it challenging to secure a permanent place in Erik ten Hag’s starting lineup.

Out of his 23 appearances in all competitions this season, the Sweden international has been named in the starting lineup only seven times. He has started in five out of 16 Premier League games, with other players such as Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho being favored in wide positions.
During the January transfer window, Manchester United reportedly received over 10 bids for Elanga from clubs including Everton, Borussia Dortmund, and PSV Eindhoven.”
Despite Barcelona’s reported interest in Anthony Elanga, Manchester United’s manager Erik ten Hag prevented a last-minute exit for the winger during the January transfer window, as the club competes in multiple competitions.
However, as per the Manchester Evening News, United is planning to loan out both Elanga and Facundo Pellistri during the upcoming summer. Pellistri, a 21-year-old winger, has made only seven appearances in all competitions this season.
The report states that United is not willing to sell Pellistri but is keen to send him out on loan for regular first-team football before deciding on his future at the club. Similar plans are in place for Elanga, who still has over three years left on his contract with the club.
Manchester United has several promising young players out on loan, including Amad Diallo, who has scored eight goals and provided two assists in 28 appearances for Sunderland this season.
While Ten Hag is looking to refine his squad for next season, the club is also interested in signing a new center-forward, with Tottenham’s Harry Kane reportedly a top target. However, United is said to be wary of getting into a bidding war for Kane and could turn to Napoli’s Victor Osimhen instead.”
