Although Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen have been linked regularly, but Bild cite that the club have their sights on pursuing Muani.

The Frenchman joined Frankfurt on a free transfer last summer, and has been a revelation for them with 16 goals and 14 assists.

It must be noted that the Bundesliga outfit valued him at around €80m before the World Cup but are now looking at €120m to sanction his sale.

United are said to be firm admirers of the World Cup finalist and it remains to be seen whether they will make such an outlay.

Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest in the striker, who could prefer to continue in German football next term.

Muani has also been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea.
