A Troyes side winless in six straight Ligue 1 matches will bid to snap their run of poor form against Montpellier at Stade de l’Aube on Sunday.

Montpellier earned a 3-0 victory over Brest at home in their last league match, leaving them in 14th place on 23 points. La Paillade have scored 34 goals and conceded 45 through 23 matches, leaving them trailing fifth-placed Lille by 18 points for a spot in the Conference League Qualifiers.

Troyes are in 16th place on 19 points, just a point outside of the relegation places with 15 matches to play. Troyes lost their last Ligue 1 match 4-0 at Stade Auguste-Delaune II against Reims, extending their winless streak to six (W0 D1 L5).

Montpellier won the last Ligue 1 meeting between the sides, emerging victorious 3-2 at Stade de la Mosson in August. Téji Savanier led la Paillade with two goals, scoring in the 15th and 81st minute. Théo Sainte-Luce also was on target. Florian Tardieu and Mama Baldé were on target for Troyes.

Savanier and Elye Wahi are Montpellier’s leading scorers, each scoring eight times.

Troyes have been led by Baldé. He is the team’s top scorer with nine goals.
