Although the Red Devils recently suffered a major blow with Christian Eriksen picking up a serious ankle injury.

They have reacted to the setback with a move for Sabitzer and they are now on the verge of signing him.

Sabitzer has already agreed personal terms over the transfer and he is set to join United in the coming hours.

It must be noted that United initially wanted to sign him on a permanent deal, but Bayern were adamant over a loan transfer.

The Red Devils could revisit their proposal in the summer if Sabitzer turns out to be successful with them.

Sabitzer will be United’s third signing of the January transfer window after the arrival of Jack Butland and Wout Weghorst.

He could be a regular starter for the Red Devils in the coming months with Eriksen out until early May.

His creativity from the number eight role would suit United.
