2023: Why Plateau people, Nigerians must reject APC- Barr. Mutfwang

As the 2023 general elections draws closer, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has called on Nigerians to reject the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying they have “inflicted pains and agony” on average Nigerians due to hike in prices of foodstuffs in the market.

He also decried the uncontrolled of the current fuel pump price which has thrown the entire country into hardship.

Mutfwang stated this during a town hall meeting with the party’s stakeholders, business community and development associations in Barkin-Ladi Local Government Area of the State.

He assured the citizenry that the only political party that will turn things around for good in the State and the country as a whole, is the PDP which has tasted power and performed incredible to the admiration of the people.

The gubernatorial candidate decried the steady rise in the debt profile of of State under the stewardship of Governor Simon Lalong, saying the the state is indebted to about N200 billion.

He noted that the state is the most backward state in terms of development in the country

Mutfwang lamented the performance of the State in the West Africa School Certificate Examination (WASCE) and National Examination Council (NECO), saying it has brought “shame and disgrace” to the people.

He assured that if given the mandate, his administration will bring significant improvement in the education sector.

Mutfwang assured the citizenry that if elected, he will “protect, secure and make them economically self reliant”.

He admonished Plateau people to entrust their vote on the PDP from top to bottom.

He explained that everything within the ambit of the law would be done to stop the bloodletting in Barkin-Ladi LGA and the State.

“Enough is enough of the bloodshed, we will do everything to stop crisis Marchants in the state.”

Also speaking, the Senator representing Plateau North, Istifanus Gyang said if given the mandate, Mutfwang will run an all inclusive government that will restore the dignity of the citizenry.

In his address, the Director General Atiku/Mutfwang campaign organisation, Hon. Latep Dabang said the APC the party has failed Nigerians.

“The APC is currently in shambles and God’s willing, they will be buried finally on the 25 February and March 11 2023”.
