According to report showing Man Utd are ready to sign Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Report have shown that the former Arsenal player has informed the club that he is ready to leave the club in search of regular first-team football, after falling down the pecking order at Anfield over the last 18 months with the club.

Report shows that Jurgen Klopp brought ‘The Ox’ to Liverpool from the Gunners for a fee of around £50 million, hoping that the England international would be a first-team regular. However, the likes of James Milner have kept the former Southampton man out of the starting XI.

Manchester United have emerged as a team ready to match Liverpool’s reported £25 million valuation, as are Premier League rivals Aston Villa and West Ham.

The versatile midfielder has struggled at Liverpool, and has not featured in the first-team since March this year, when he was deployed as a makeshift right midfielder for an FA Cup game.

With United set to lose Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Nemanja Matic, the club are short of names ahead of the new season and Oxlade-Chamberlain could present good value for money.
