Report shows that the Gunners are tracking Red Bull Salzburg youngster Karim Adeyemi as Arsenal commence their search for a long-term replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

It was also noted that with uncertainty over the future of attacking duo Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette, the Emirates side will be forced to move quickly to snap up one of Europe’s brightest young strikers for now.

Club record shows that Adeyemi has bagged 14 goals in 18 Austrian Bundesliga games so far this season, with a further impressive three goals in the Champions League.

Information reaching us shows that the 20-year-old came up through the Bayern Munich youth team before commencing his career for German minnows Unterhaching. Following that, Austrian outfit RB Salzburg paid 3.5 million euros for the then 16-year-old.

With all on board it shows that Arsenal are confident that a deal can be reached with Lacazette to extend his stay with the Gunners for a further season thereby setting up Adeyemi as the long-term replacement to lead the line for Mikel Arteta’s side.

According to reports from Austria, the player’s club are ready to part company with the striker for a fee of around 50 million euros. In order to secure a transfer, Arsenal will need to fend off the interest of both Bayern Munich and Salzburg’s partner side RB Leipzig.
