Report as gathered by our reporters states that Arsenal reportedly paid a compensation fee for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to terminate his contract.

The fee will be paid in instalments instead of a single payment. Meanwhile, Aubameyang took a significant pay-cut to join Barcelona.
He has signed a contract until the summer of 2025, but the deal could be mutually terminated at the end of the 2022/23 campaign based on Barcelona terms.
The 32-year-old endured a tough 18 months with the Gunners, and will be hoping for a change of fortunes with the Blaugrana.
