Based on report reaching us here at the studio saying that Ben White will undergo a medical
ahead of a proposed £50million transfer to Arsenal this week as the Gunners continue
their summer recruit for more world class stars.
Although it was noted that White who has been a Brighton defender has always impressed in the
Premier League last season before being drafted into Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2020 squad.
According to the report which have it that Arsenal saw two bids – of £40m and £47m – knocked
back by the Seagulls before finally agreeing a £50m fee with Brighton also inserting a sell-on
clause on the established defender.
Final report have it that the player will undergo his medical on Wednesday.
History have it that White, who has made 41 appearances for Brighton since arriving from
Southampton in 2014, will become Arsenal’s third signing of these current summer.
