Former stoke city attacker Xherdan Shaqiri will seek a fresh challenge away from the club when the transfer window reopens as he feels he is not getting much from the club now.

The 29-year-old experienced playmaker has struggled for regular playing time this term, managing under 800 minutes of first-team football with the team.

Inhouse club report shows that Shaqiri still has two years remaining on his contract with the red but Football Insider claims that he is looking to move on from the club as he is not getting satisfaction in playing time.

It was noted that the Swiss strongman is being fancied to head to the Serie A this summer with strong interest from the likes of AS Roma and Lazio serious showing interest on him.

Also with Sevilla also showing interest on him but the price could be a stumbling block for any interested clubs to pick the player.

It is believed that the Reds want around £23m for the former Stoke City man and they may need to lower their valuation to sanction his sale of these playmaker.

Shaqiri has managed only six starts in the current campaign. He has played just one minute over the past six league games.

It was also noted that aside from Shaqiri, the likes of Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino could also leave the club at the end of the campaign with the Red.
