Spanish Giant Barcelona have not completely given up on the possibility of bring back Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar back to the club if it happens that their playmaker Lionel Messi finally decide to bring to an end to his contract with the club in the nearest future.
Although Neymar was tipped to complete a sensational switch back to Camp Nou over the last summer but with the current financial position of Barcelona which have restricted and limited their power to bring the playmaker back to the club.
The established Brazilian forward remained at the Parc des Princes for now untill they are able to meet PSG transfer condition.
According to PSG’s sporting director Leonardo who recently confirmed that discusiion is currently on the table regarding the new contract for Neymar to enable the playmaker stay with the French champions until 2022 season.
Onething to be noted here is that Neymar can still leave PSG if any club is financial ready to met the condition in case they cannot agree a new deal with the 28-year-old which might tempt the former Barcelona man to move back to Catalonia and join Barcelona.
Club record states that in case PSG and Neymar fail to come to an agreement over his contract extension then the French giants will be willing to entertain offers of €100m (£89.8m) for the Brazil international, who currently have 72 goals in 89 games for PSG since his record-breaking €222m (£199.2m) move to the French giant.
As for Balon D’or Argentine Messi whose future also depend on who might emerge a Barcelona president and the intention of the new president will have to be put into consideration for the playmakers movement.
