Gabonese Striker extends contract with Arsenal.


It is finally out that Arsenal have officially announce the contract extension for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has decided to put pen-to-paper on a fresh three-year contract with the Gunners..


It was noted that the Gabon international joined the Gunners from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018 with a prospect of leading the Gunner to a good end and over the past two-and-a-half years, he has shown these by netted 72 goals, 29 of which came last season.

According to Club statistics saying that Aubameyang’s previous deal was due to end in the summer of 2021, but he has finally decided to sign a fresh new contract which is expected to run until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

Based on these renewal, the 31-year-old playmaker has also been rewarded with an increase in wages on his previous salary which will allow him earn around £250,000-a-week as his basic wages as stated by club management.

Football Analyst was able to gather that Aubameyang has netted 22 goals in each of the previous two Premier League campaigns and he was on the scoresheet during the Gunners’ 3-0 win over Fulham in the 2020/21 Premier League opener.

Based on the opening key performance he will be aiming for another 20-goal these season in the Premier League which will allow the Gunners challenge for the top four thereby qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in five seasons.
