Barcelona agree €25 million for Lyon captain Memphis Depay .

Report from Barcelona reportedly states that a deal have agreed  with Lyon for captain Memphis Depay and there are plans that the player could be unveil later this week.

According to media house like De Telegraaf saying that Barcelona had an offer of €25 million plus €5m accepted by Lyon for their captain as he moves his service to the Spanish Giant.

It was noted that the 26-year-old Lyon player will become new manager Ronald Koeman’s first signing of the season at Barcelona and could be seen to arrive at the Spanish Giant before the weekend.

Football Analyst are saying that the Spanish Giant Barca had to sell before they could buy this summer, but it now appears Memphis could even arrives before Suarez departs the club.

Although the Uruguayan’s future remains unclear expecially the fact he won’t move unless Barcelona pays the final year of his contract as agree by both parties and these could lead to him spending his last season in the stands.

It was observed that Ronald Koeman is looking at adding fresh faces to the team at Camp Nou and has turned to one player he feels will be able to deliver for him.

Football Analyst specifically states that Koeman asked club management for 26-years-old Memphis to be recruited after working with him for the national side.

His major aim for his recruitment is just to look for a successor for Luis Suarez with the Uruguayan looking likely to leave for Juventus if the deal finally comes to conclusion.

Memphis is looking excited about the opportunity to join compatriot Frenkie de Jong and playing for Koeman in LaLiga in a great club like Barcelona.

Based on his previous club report the attacker joined current club Lyon from United back in 2017 after a tough 18 months at Old Trafford.
