Rennes Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy finally in Chelsea Radar.


According report confirmed by our EPL reporter saying that the Blues are currently on negotiations with Rennais in respect of their respect Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy. It was noted that the Senegalese is valued at 35 million euros but chelsea is still on the negotiation table.

The Blues are currently not happy in the performance of Kepa Arrizabalaga last season and so they are willing to search for a better replacement for the number one keeper.

Based on football analyst saying that Chelsea who has added six new player to their current squad with the Hope of bring in a new keeper before the transfer ends.

Although it was noted that the Blues failed with a bid of around 14 million euros for Mendy but the Blues has not stopped in their negotiation.

Chelsea former keeper and now Technical Director Petr Cech is seen as a leading voice in the negotiation with Rennes and a postive breakthrough since to be achieved.

The 28-years-old Senegalese will cost the Blues more than £20m now.

Club reporter is saying that the Blues are still spending in order to build a world class team with the likes of Lille’s Boubakary Soumare or WestHam United Declan Rice which is likely to join the squard.
