The blues through their media department confirmed the transfer of Mario Pasalic to Serie A Club called Atalanta BC.
It must be noted that the transfer was made possible due to the Buy option triggered by the Serie A club.
Club record have it that the Croatian who is currently on his second loan with the Italian and these has lead to the activation of the £13.5m buy clause option accepted by them.
According to a statement official issued by them in their website saying “Pasalic joined the Blues from Hajduk Split in the summer of 2014 but he was unable to make a competitive appearance during this time at the club”.
Football Analyst are saying that the player was sold cheap to the Seria A and they also considered that the player was bought by Chelsea for a £3m from Hajduk.
Pasalic who has contributed to the top four push of Atalanta has made over 70 club appearances with them since on loan.
